Since most of my readers were on Smashwords, their reviews were posted on Smashwords. My Amazon page didn't have as many reviews. I decided that SAND's Amazon page needed a little revamping.
I edited SAND's description through KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) bookshelf. I kept the short paragraph which describes SAND but I added something else. With permission from Smashwords and Goodreads reviewers, I added their reviews to the Amazon product description.
This is what the old Amazon product description looked like:

I call these steps, "optimizing my Amazon Page."
It's not #1 but it sure did make a difference!
At the time of this posting, I changed SAND's Category from Thriller to Men's Adventure, War.
I hope this will help SAND move up even more in Amazon bestsellers rank. The idea is that there is more competition in the Category of Thrillers. I did this following the advice of Carolyn McCray in Dollars & Sense: The Definitive Guide to Self-Publishing Success. Excellent book! I recommend it!
